Drowning in Regulation-Legislative Listening Tour

Is your business burdened by regulation?

  • HR Compliance
  • Environmental Compliance
  • Financial Compliance
  • Let your concerns be heard

There is no question government regulation is inhibiting investment and expansion by businesses across the country. Kansas legislators are aware of this burden and are taking to the road to listen to the Kansas business community.

In coordination with the statewide tour by the Officer of the Repealer, Dennis Taylor, the Kansas Chamber, Kansas Society for Human Resource Management (KS SHRM) and the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) have come together with to sponsor a listening tour for members to voice concern over unnecessary or burdensome regulations and laws.

Three forums have been scheduled across the state. The first event is scheduled for October 12, in Wichita, followed by Overland Park on October 25 and Garden City on November 7. The panel of elected officials includes Secretary Taylor, and the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Ranking Minority members of the Kansas House and Kansas Senate Commerce committee.

Registration is FREE for these evens! We just ask that you complete a short survey prior to the event- Click here to complete the survey. For more information, contact Eric Stafford with the Kansas Chamber at (785) 357-6321.
