    Responsibilities:

    • Functions as a business partner, providing guidance and counsel in areas of coaching and performance.  Builds strong business relationships with the functional leaders.
    • Works effectively with functional leaders to ensure understanding of current and future workforce needs and implements improvements to staffing processes including sourcing and selection.
    • Responsible for interviewing, hiring and onboarding employees; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    • Utilize metrics to analyze information and evaluate results to problem solve and develop improvement initiatives.
    • Builds and maintains effective working relationships to provide advice and counsel on employment and organizational matters.
    • Works with Human Resources organization on various HR initiatives.
    • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department.
    • Maintains, updates and ensures accuracy of information in HRIS.
    • Completes special projects as established by clarifying project objective and setting timetables and developing and organizing information and fulfilling transactions.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
    2. PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification a plus.
    3. Minimum 3-5 years of demonstrated HR experience.
    4. Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
    5. Proficient computer skills required, including experience with MS Office Suite software and knowledge of HRIS software.
    6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    7. Highly effective interpersonal and relationship building skills.
    8. Demonstrated problem solving skills along with strong time management and prioritization skills.
    9. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiples tasks simultaneously.
    10. Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and exercise good judgement.
    11. Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
    12. Must possess ability to maintain confidentiality and establish credibility as a trusted HR professional.
    13. Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations. 
    14. Must be able to adjust work schedule to accommodate all shifts.
