Speaker: J.T. Galloway "Engaged at Work During COVID-19"
Our brain has cravings, and during a pandemic it's imperative that we do pulse checks more frequently with ourselves to ensure we're bringing our best selves to work, family, and life. We look at these 5 biggest brain cravings and how we can take steps in order to thrive in our every day lives during these unprecedented times.
Top business leaders know that the main competitive advantage of any organization is their people. According to Korn Ferry, 72% of executives say culture is extremely important for organizational excellence but only 32% say their culture is fully aligned with their business strategies. There is a direct correlation between a healthy, productive culture and a company’s profitable bottom line. Unfortunately, many companies spend little to no resources cultivating culture as an ongoing process of organizational excellence.

Growing up in the outskirts of rural Kansas City in a small town called Peculiar, JT Galloway grew up around a family full of entrepreneurs from blue collar to IT specialists, being able to make an impact on others through business has been a part of his DNA. After graduating from Mizzou, he began in the financial field achieving several designations but soon realized his calling was elsewhere. After being known as the “high five guy” at a home loan company, he got the opportunity to work as a Culture Coordinator, making an impact on the organization as a whole. After working several years and helping the company get accolades such as Fortune’s Top 100 companies to work for, he went out to help other organizations and has been doing so ever since. During his time in this field, he’s been able to get recognized locally, nationally, as well as globally for his efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of his clients and their employees through organizational culture and employee wellbeing. He now owns CoCulture LLC, is married and has his first child, and enjoys raising funds for his local children’s hospital through Extra Life gaming.
